How to Get Started on Journaling; 100 Questions to Ask Yourself for Self Connection, Personal Development and Growth

Here is how to get started on Journaling with 100 questions to ask yourself to connect with yourself for personal development and growth.

As a Life Coach, I am always looking for practical, effective, efficient ways to help my clients get unstuck, break sabotaging patterns and connect to themselves so they can confront what really needs to shift in their lives.

One of the things I do myself and recommend to others, is intentional journaling. Intentional journaling is a powerful way to connect with yourself, practice self reflection, get clear on where you are winning, what needs improvement, and you can even channel the solutions to problems and inspiration necessary to manifest what you desire in life.

I used intentional journaling to manifest my escape from the corporate rat race, to build my Life Coaching business, to manifest mentors, clients, my husband, our home, or dog and so many other things and occurrences along my journey of creating my best life.

Now I teach others how to do the same and what isn’t widely shared is the importance of self connection.

We are powerful creators but when were don’t feel powerful we can easily feel as if life is happening to us and we are being tossed around by life.

That said, intentional journaling isn’t like writing in a diary. Many people have this misconception about what journaling truly is.

Given that I like to geek out on quantum physics and encourage my clients to use their words to speak their desires into their life experience as I have and continue to do, intentional journaling puts the power of manifestation in your hands.

Intentional journaling requires that you write out what you desire in a specific way which I teach. You then ask for divine guidance. “Spirit, what do you want me to know, do and see, to achieve my desire.”

But before you can do any of this you need to become highly attuned to your own energy and emotions.

Self connection work is the first step. When you are connected to yourself you gain confidence through clarity. You know yourself. You also know how to powerfully navigate the world you live in as you move into the world you choose to create.

If past traumas have you in fight or flight and are emotionally numb, the following questions will help you get started in connecting to yourself.

You can’t be intentional when you are disconnected and uncertain about your ability to manifest what you truly desire out of life.

When you don’t have a strong connection with yourself then you can’t receive connection from anyone else. You may struggle to connect to your intuition and lack self trust. This is especially true after a betrayal or a major disappointment, a set back in life.

This lack of self connection is why so many people are stuck in life, feeling exhausted all the time living life treading water as opposed to creating and thriving in life.

Since I started LoveQuest Coaching and became a Certified Life Coach in 2017, my clients hire me to help them with many different personal and relationship struggles such as healing from a break up, developing self care and self love, to stop people pleasing, post divorce reinvention, narcissistic abuse recovery, or to learn to date with intention, purpose, and confidence.

The first thing we do is self connection work.

When I stumbled across this list of 100 Questions to Ask Yourself Daily on UpJourney, I was inspired to serve others by including these questions in my article on self connection; the important first step in manifestation through the practice of intentional journaling.

This list of 100 Questions to Ask Yourself provides a fantastic way to begin self connection.

Once you get through these questions, you’ll be more connected to yourself and then you can go deep into intentional journaling for the purpose of manifestation. If you are interested in creating a new life for yourself, and want to get the valid reasons why you are stuck, ask yourself the following questions.

Then let’s connect to advance you forward.
